Membership

The First Step

Before anyone becomes a member, we want to be sure to answer any questions they may have. We also want to set aside a time and place to clearly express the vision of our church. That way, you have a full understanding of where we’ve been, what we believe, and where we are going.

For all potential new members, we ask that you attend Discover Valley. It’s not a commitment, and it’s not locking you into any decisions. There are absolutely no strings attached, but it is a chance to hear from our pastors about what it means to walk alongside us as a Member. We want to make sure that Valley is the right fit for you.

Start Here

We hold Discover Valley several different times throughout the year. Bring your questions, your concerns, and your willingness to learn about where this church is headed. We can’t wait to meet you and hear your story.

FAQs

  • Believer's baptism is required for membership at Valley. We believe that baptism does not save anyone, but is a believer’s symbolic identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. It is done by immersion as an act of obedience by those who have put their faith and trust in Christ. If you are unsure if you meet this requirement, we encourage you to speak with a pastor.

  • In many cases, we can transfer membership from another church after you have attended Discover Valley.
