At Valley Baptist Church, we are committed to keeping your children safe and secure.  For this reason we have implemented a child check-in system called “KidCheck,”  which is designed to provide you with a quick and simple check-in experience.  Please note that ALL children ages birth – 5th grade attending Children’s Ministries are required to be checked in by a parent or guardian at the Children’s Welcome Center.

Nursery  0-2 years

Our infant and toddler nurseries are designed to lovingly meet the developmental needs for all of your baby’s stages.  Nursery care is available during the 9:30 Sunday morning worship, as well as Sunday evening and mid-week services.  Toddlers are promoted to the 2′s and 3′s  Sunday school class the second week of September.

Preschool  2 years to 5 years

Preschoolers attend Sunday School during the Sunday worship service in either 2′s and 3′s classroom or the 4′s and 5′s classroom.   Promotion takes place the second week of September.

Sunday School  K to Grade 6

Sunday School takes place during Sunday morning service from 9:30-10:15.   Biblical teaching happens through discussion, group activity, games, music, art, modeling behavior, and through the study of God’s Word.  In sharing Jesus Christ, we strive to encourage children toward a personal choice to follow Him and to strengthen their Christian growth in an enjoyable way.

Kid’s Church takes place during the Sunday morning service from 10:15 – 11:00.  We have a wonderful Children’s Church program called Disciple Town.  It features singing, sword drills, exciting Bible lessons, skits, and puppets.  Each week information is sent home with the parents talking about the week’s lesson, as well as a table talker (family devotional help).

King’s Kids 4 years – 6th grade <<<<click for more information

Kings Kids is an hour long children’s program on Wednesday nights at 7:00.  Join us at King’s Kids for exciting Bible lessons, games, singing, Scripture memorization, and every week a different theme, eg.  crazy hat night, sports night.  For more information see the King’s Kids tab!

Vacation Bible School   4 years – 6th Grade

Vacation Bible School is an awesome summer week of Bible stories, action-packed songs, memory verses, cool crafts, games and snacks.  Adult and teen workers and children truly enjoy this exciting week of learning, creating, serving, and lots of fun time together.  Children ages 4 years – 6th grade are invited to participate.
